Butterfly Tattoo Flash Design with spiral tail and meaning
Butterfly Tattoo Flash Design with spiral tail and meaning
Here is a Butterfly design I was asked to do. this was design to go on a calf for a female so it needed to be quite light in design but solid enough to see what it was at a distance. I added the tail to the design so that it flowed down the leg nicely. I have included the flash design and the photo of the tattoo.
Also I have look around for some examples of the meaning of the butterfly as a symbol.

The story behind this design is basically a modern day adaptation of a family tree. The tendrills each represent a significant person in the wearers life. Stars are for each child. Obviously feminine and elegant.
